The awareness of the microbiome of the human body has increased in recent studies and publications. However, the importance of the vaginal microbiota is still underrated, given the severe changes during menstruation, pregnancy, lactation, and menopause. Due to those changes, it is especially hard to maintain a healthy vaginal microbiome and the consequences of changes are diverse.
In this Webinar Professor Bohbot will highlight the importance of the vaginal microbiome and the possible problems of an unbalanced vaginal flora throughout the lifetime of women including their fertility. He will also discuss the influence of vaginal infections on the microflora and will also specify his findings in ART research. In the end, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly.
